216 H1486F mutation almost abolished the ATP-dependent LTC4 transport activity completely (Figs. 1C and 4B), whereas H1486Y mutation retained ~41% of wild-type LTC4 transport activity (Fig. 5C), presumably the hydroxyl group on the benzene ring of tyrosine provides a possibility to form hydrogen-bond with the γ-phosphate of the bound ATP.
