The results in Figure 2A clearly indicate that the GSH content in BHK/K1333L cell is similar to that of BHK/ CFTR, but significantly higher than that in BHK/ MRP1 cell, suggesting that wt MRP1 constantly pumps the GSH out of the cell whereas the functionally inactive K1333L mutant [14] cannot.
