The hypothesis that phosphorylation of SUR1 favors binding of MgADP and thus functional coupling is supported by the observation that the K1384M mutation in SUR1`s second NBF completely suppress MgADP-dependent reactivation of ATP-inhibited channels (Gribble et al., 1997). Login to comment
